Chanterlands Avenue North parking

John Fareham and John Abbott are working to resolve issues with inappropriate parking on Chanterlands Avenue North.

We have been notified of local residents experiencing difficulties getting their cars on and off their own properties because other people’s cars are parked in inappropriate positions.  We have therefore referred the matter to the officers who have asked those responsible for parking enforcement to take a look and see if local residents’ concerns are indeed justified.  We would assume that they are – nobody rings the Guildhall and asks to speak to us without at least believing that they have good reason to do so – and we will report any further instances of this kind of inappropriate parking to the officers as and when we hear of them.
